The Davis Cos., welcomes three seasoned real estate executives to the firm's senior management team: Jordan Warshaw, director of acquisitions and development; Kenneth Richard, chief financial officer; and David Currie, general counsel.
Warshaw joins to lead their new business development activities.  He spent 11 years with The Druker Co., where as VP and a member of Druker's senior executive group Warshaw oversaw all aspects of real estate development, acquisitions, financing, operations management, and supervised the development, redevelopment and repositioning of a wide range of assets.
Richard brings 30 years of finance and accounting expertise, primarily in the real estate industry, as its new CFO and will be spearheading projects like the deal completed last week to acquire a $75 million portfolio of first mortgage loans on commercial properties in five states from a major national banking institution.
Most recently Richard was senior VP and CFO at A.D. Makepeace Co.
Currie has been a highly respected member of the legal profession, primarily working on real estate, including: finance, development, leasing, construction, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining The Davis Cos. he was corporate counsel at Whittier Health Network and senior VP and general counsel at CareMatrix.Corp.
David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Cornell Law Review.
Last week Jonathan Davis, CEO of The Davis Companies, announced that he and business partner Paul Marcus were launching separate ventures in Boston.  About 30 out of 40 of Davis Marcus Partners most talented employees are continuing on with Jon at The Davis Companies.

"The addition of David, Jordan and Ken, brings a wealth of experience to our management team, and positions us to execute our strategy for continued growth," said Davis.
Since its founding in 1976, The Davis Companies has acquired and developed approximately 100 properties, representing an investment of almost $2 billion.  Included in its portfolio are the purchase and repositioning of the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District, the development of Charles River Plaza at the foot of Beacon Hill and the development of the 1.2 million square foot Reservoir Woods office park in Waltham, where the firm is currently constructing a new 312,000 square foot building that will serve as the US headquarters of National Grid.  The firm recently was re-launched as The Davis Companies, following three years of doing business as Davis Marcus Partners.
