What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?

My most notable project in the past year was the opportunity to create the workplace strategy for the State of Massachusetts. This large-scale, complex project involved master planning, consolidating several buildings, and developing space metrics to provide an efficient workplace standard for all the Commonwealth’s administrative offices to be hybrid-ready by 2023. These universal design principles were given to multiple architectural firms to translate into reality with a minimal budget and a commitment to sustainability and accessibility. Being able to contribute and be part of the conversation in determining how people within the Commonwealth work, where they work and what tools they need to do their best work was the most rewarding part of this project. As a principal and director of strategy and interior design at Ci, I value centering the human aspect of every project to create thoughtful design.
