What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry?

My driving force behind my success in the AEC industry has been my previous experience as a municipal town planner for approximately 30 years. As a principal in Platinum Partners, LLC, I am able to transfer my urban development professional skills and experience, while working with state and local government in the areas of land use planning, permitting and consulting in both the private and public sector. We find cost-effective solutions in order to expedite the permitting process. Platinum Partners focuses on planning solutions with the collaboration of partnerships between government, clients and the community to achieve exceptional outcomes that enhance the quality of life and the sustainability of communities.

What are your goals for the future?

An important goal for the future is to ensure that there is a balance between the land being developed and the needs of the community. A top priority would be to improve how we communicate with architects, engineers, the construction industry, government, and the community. Effective communication is a key factor to ensure that the exchanging of information is clearly understood. I believe that the key to my success is to constantly work on communication techniques because we are all so unique and interpret situations differently, and of course, listen and listen.
