U.S. Pavement Services completes 65,000 s/f parking lot repave at BJ's Wholesale headquarters

U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. the leading sealcoating and paving contractor in the Northeast, has completed a 65,000 sf parking lot repave at BJ's Wholesale Club headquarters,. The time sensitive job required that U.S. Pavement Services work quickly to minimize the disruption to the lot's heavy weekday traffic, and to complete the job with long-term cost efficiency. "The parking lot is full on a typical weekday, which provided us with a challenge," said president Mike Musto. "We carefully planned the project to begin on Friday, June 19th at 11 a.m., to coincide with the company outing. BJ's employees were off-site, and we didn't have to disturb the regular lot traffic." U.S. Pavement Services worked Friday through Saturday to install a new concrete pad for the dumpster, pulverize and grade the lot, pave the binder course of asphalt and paint temporary lines for the upcoming week. The following Saturday, they completed the project, paving the top coat of asphalt and painting all of the permanent lines and markings. "We have a long relationship with US Pavement Services, and we are pleased with their customer service and quality of workmanship," said Steve Parker, manager of facilities and maintenance, BJ's. "Their team understands how important it is to make this process safe and easy for our employees, and they always make that a top priority." U.S. Pavement Services has a continued relationship with BJ's; they have worked together for many years on other pavement projects. U.S. Pavement Services recently completed pavement of a parking lot at BJ's Weymouth location. Other major clients include office complexes, educational institutions, hospitals, retail, and hotel chains throughout the United States. For more than twenty years, U.S. Pavement Services has been providing the most comprehensive and professional pavement maintenance services in New England. U.S. Pavement is the leading provider of paving, sealcoating, crackfilling, line striping, asphalt and concrete services in the Northeast. Major national clients include office complexes, educational institutions, hospitals, retail, and hotel chains. The Company is a 2008 and 2009 Inc. 5000 awardee, listed as one of America's fastest growing private companies.
