Minnerly joins NAI Hunneman as an executive vice president and principal

According to NAI Hunneman, veteran commercial broker Catherine Minnerly has joined the firm as an executive vice president and principal. Prior to joining NAI Hunneman, Minnerly served for the past 7 years as senior director at Cushman & Wakefield of Mass., where she averaged between 40 and 50 sales and leasing transactions annually, representing between 1 million and 1.3 million s/f of commercial space per year. At NAI Hunneman, Minnerly will be in charge of leasing in the Greater Boston South suburban region. She has been in the commercial real estate business for 22 years, specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial, office and R&D properties. "I'm very excited to join the NAI Hunneman team. Hunneman is locally owned and both well capitalized and well positioned to take advantage of the many changes in today's real estate market," said Minnerly. "The firm offered me a package that allows me to expand my team and provides access to ample marketing resources, capital markets and property management capabilities for my clients." "In addition, Hunneman has a long history of successfully working with banks, and other financial institutions to bring 'turn-around' real estate opportunities to investors as it did in early 1990s when the firm was awarded one of largest commercial portfolios by the FDIC. This was one of many factors that solidified my decision to join the firm." In each of the past six years, CoStar Group and Real Estate Forum named Minnerly a Boston Power Broker based on leasing transaction volume. In 2005, the Boston Herald named Minnerly one of the "Top 10 Women Brokers in Boston." Minnerly was awarded the Top Industrial Deal of The Year in 2002 and ranked among Boston's Top 25 Brokers by CoStar Group. Minnerly is a member of the Greater Boston real Estate Board's Commercial Brokers Association and was named by the CBA as one of the region's Top 5 Industrial Brokers. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Minnerly worked at NAI Hunneman. In 2001, she was the Top Commercial Broker for NAI Hunneman, and she was NAI Hunneman's leader in transactions volume from 1996 to 2001. "We're absolutely thrilled to have Catherine join our team again," said Stuart Pratt, president and chief executive officer of NAI Hunneman. "She has deservedly earned a reputation as one of the premier commercial brokers in Greater Boston and one of the top industrial brokers in the Northeast. We look forward to working with her."
