Anna Maria College's new, all-purpose artificial turf field, AMCat Field, was recognized as a winner in the Single Field category by the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) awards committee.Tags:
Warner Larson, Inc., the company that installed the field is being acknowledged for its work on the AMC project. The award will be presented to a representative of Warner Larson, Inc., at the ASBA Annual Technical Meeting scheduled for December in Vedra Beach, Florida.
AMCat Field was installed in 2009 in time for the kick-off of the first football game ever to be played at Anna Maria College. In addition to football, the all-purpose field is used by other varsity sports at AMC including soccer, field hockey and lacrosse.
