What year did you discover the New England Real Estate Journal and what business were you doing at that time? My initial discovery of the New England Real Estate Journal was in the early 1980s as I entered the industry. I was with a small brokerage firm in Lowell and had a requirement for my father's company seeking a larger facility (with rail siding). We had just begun a subscription to the Journal and in the classified section was a building in Medford that fit the bill perfectly. The company ended up leasing the building and I subsequently became friends with the cooperating broker and eventually worked with him at a larger firm in Boston. The NEREJ was the catalyst for my career in a way!
How long have you been affiliated with the commercial real estate industry? For approximately 27 years. I began my career as a commercial broker in Massachusetts and quickly was attracted to the design/build construction industry, working at The Stone Company in Wayland. Since then I have continued to have a passion for the commercial real estate & construction industry and have had the pleasure of working with many great people on numerous exciting projects over the years, while establishing some wonderful friendships.
