O'Connell Hospitality Group (www.oconnellhospitality.com) has sold Hampton Inn, event center and Lighthouse Restaurant. Jim O'Connell, principal and John Siska, Sr., managing director of O'Connell Hospitality Group, LLC represented Burlington Hotel Investment Group, LLC, the owners of the Hampton Inn & Conference Center, and introduced the buyers, Burlington Hotel Opco, LLC to the project. The Lighthouse Restaurant was also included in the sale.
The sale includes the 187 room hotel with 10 suites and 6,000 s/f of conference space, a 125-seat leased restaurant on a pad site, situated on 12 acres on I-89. Hilton Hotels approved a new 15 year franchise license for the hotel.
"The Hampton Inn and Event Center was well managed and maintained. It received acquisition interest from investors across the country. The former owners decided to take advantage of a very strong investment market for upscale select service hotels that have excellent cash flow," said O'Connell.
