Boston, MA Boston GreenFest, New England’s largest multicultural environmental festival is ramping up to be another memorable weekend in the city, August 19-21. Artists, musicians, performers, food vendors, and local and international businesses are coming from all over to showcase their talents and products. So far, GreenFest has received thousands of applications from around the country and are expected to receive more as the festival date draws closer. Festival -goers will have a chance to glimpse into the future of environmental urban planning and sustainable community development.

On August 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Faneuil Hall a forum entitled Water and Resiliency will cover an in- depth discussion on the financial, environmental, economic, and social aspects of Community Water and Energy Resource Centers (CWERCs) will be held. The forum will also focus on revealing Boston’s new resiliency plan. This year’s festival will feature a Showcase for Innovation which demonstrates the emphasis on the creative side of entrepreneurship and small business. Community development businesses and corporations like the Force of Nature, the Boston Society of Architects, GROVE,and Power Home Remodeling as well as many others will be there to show off their innovative products and designs.
