Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts (ABC-Mass.) isn't just the Commonwealth's largest construction trade organization. Nor is it just the voice of the merit shop. ABC-Mass. represents the very best of the open shop in Massachusetts. That's why the annual Excellence in Construction Awards (EICA) are such an important part of what we do. I'm proud to say that this year's EICA will be bigger and better than ever. The awards dinner will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston on Thursday, November 17. The event is part of the BuildBoston conference, which further enhances your opportunity to network with owners and architects, as well as the general and subcontractors that worked on the winning projects.
We have enhanced the media component of EICA, to help spread the word about the excellence of ABC members' work. This year, Joe Shortsleeve, chief correspondent for WBZ-TV Channel 4 News, will emcee the event.
