The project included the renovation of an existing cafeteria rotunda to create a new 134-seat auditorium, a conference center with several meeting rooms, and existing and new café kiosks. Each of these spaces serves an essential and similar purpose for employee collaboration and communication. Acentech worked with TLB Architecture to design appropriate room finishes, sound isolation measures, and mechanical system noise control to transform these spaces into environments that encourage the exchange of ideas for Pfizer.

Acentech consultants also established the design criteria for the audiovisual requirements in these spaces. The auditorium and large conference room contain audiovisual systems for interactive, multi-site conferences and quality audiovisual presentations. User-friendly, technology, large screen displays, ADA-compliant assistive listening devices, playback audio, and video conferencing were implemented to enable communication with Pfizer’s many global locations.
