On March 30, AGC of Massachusetts will host a program on Integrated Project Delivery and Building Information Modeling at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. At a time when the construction industry is searching for ways to eliminate waste, cut costs, improve productivity and create positive outcomes for projects, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is emerging as the process of choice among astute owners.
The IPD process leverages the experience, talent and input of all team members in a collaborative manner to obtain the best results and increase value for the owner. In addition to being highly collaborative and seeking input from project team members, IPD allows member companies to leverage Building Information Modeling by creating a virtual design of every element of a construction project's process.
