Andover, MA Leading specialty staffing firm, ALKU, has opened their new headquarters located at 100 Brickstone Sq., Suite 400. The new building provides a 78% increase in office space from ALKU’s previous local office, offering 75,000 s/f across two floors, 448 workstations, and 46 offices.

With more than 60% of employees regularly in the office five days a week, a range of new features were intentionally designed to promote a positive work environment, and safe space for team members. This includes a gender-neutral bathroom, mother’s room, and wellness room, intended for low stimulation and meditation. The new headquarters also features focus rooms, designated training rooms, and expansive communal areas that include lounge-style seating to help foster collaboration. Added bonus features include an on-site media production room, tech bar, library, game room, surround-sound speakers, cold-brew coffee on tap, and even a golf simulator. In addition to the nearly 450 workstations, the new ALKU headquarters also has an atrium for shared work to take place in different style booths.

ALKU’s chief operating officer, Jon Kujala; CEO, Mark Eldridge;
and president, Andrew Bull celebrate the new headquarters.

To celebrate ALKU’s growth, the design team including Mulrooney A&D and Haley McLane Design, used mixed materials to create a hardwood “track” around the office, representing ALKU’s path to success over the last 15 years. The distinct hardwood flooring is designed to stand out amongst the carpet and goes around multiple workstations, highlighting pivotal moments in ALKU’s history since launching in 2008.

“It has been the greatest privilege to deliver this space to the ALKrew. The intent of this design was to capture an upscale atmosphere that is conducive to our dedicated, fast-paced working style, and to showcase everyone’s incredible achievements,” said senior facilities planning manager, Emily Collins. “Every milestone, personal success, and accomplishment is built into each fiber of this office. Our in-office environment is where the magic happens, and I can’t wait to see ALKU bring this space to life!”

ALKU’s chief operating officer, Jon Kujala, along with other members of the executive leadership team held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the firm’s new headquarters.

“Building out a state-of-the-art headquarters is part of our commitment to our employees. We want them to have a great office to come to work, collaborate, problem solve, and have fun,” said Kujala. “By moving into this office, we have achieved that. We are excited about the next phase of ALKU and look forward to our continued growth.”
