Angel of Angel Commercial leases 2,600 s/f to Capitol PhotoInteractive
Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial L.L.C., a Southport-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, leased 2,600 s/f of retail space at the Fairfield Shopping Center (Bob's Plaza) located at 855 Post Rd. to Capitol PhotoInteractive.
As a family business based in Fairfield for over 35 years, Capitol PhotoInteractive's expansion into larger space was necessary to support their growing business. Regina Madwed, owner, will be sharing the space with her twin sons' business Capitol Photo Booths.
"Our new studio is open for business," said Madwed. "The new space is modern and perfect for the studio. We will have a grand re-opening in June to celebrate our new premises which now has room to accommodate my sons' business, Capitol Photo Booths. This is an exciting and emotional time for us. My children are growing their business and continuing their family legacy."
Jacob Madwed, co-founder of Capitol Photo Booths, said, "When my brother Daniel and I started Capitol PhotoBooths 7 years ago we shared 800 s/f with Capitol PhotoInteractive. Since Daniel and I were running our company part time while attending school, the space for our business wasn't a major concern. However, both of us are graduating from College in May and we will need our own area to grow our side of the business."
"The new location will provide more visibility and improved parking," said Angel, who negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant.
Melrose, MA Dennis Kelleher and John Pentore of Horvath & Tremblay have facilitated the sale of 47 units spread across two multi-family properties in totaling $13.7 million. Kelleher and Pentore facilitated the sale of 333 Main St. and 447 Pleasant St.
Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
