ARC hires Hale as senior associate and director of interior design

Madaline Hale, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C, has joined ARC/ Architectural Resources Cambridge as a senior associate and director of interior design. Hale has 25 years of diverse interior design experience with projects in fields ranging from higher education, science and technology to corporate and health care. In her new position, Hale is charged with developing high-performance interiors that support the unique vision, culture and financial goals of each ARC client. Expert in satisfying complex project requirements and maximizing design opportunities, she and her team are committed to create truly innovative and inspired interior environments. Hale studied Interior Design at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, has earned accreditation from the National Council for Interior Design and is a member of the International Interior Design Association. She also is an accredited professional in the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. Hale most recently was affiliated with Perkins+Will in Boston, and also has worked with Bay State firms Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott and The Hale Design Studio, as well as several Washignton, D.C.-based firms. In addition to science, corporate and health care-related projects, she has designed high-profile interior projects at world-class universities across the country, including Harvard, Cornell, Tufts and Duke. A collaborative designer and planner, Hale uses a comprehensive approach integrating materials, lighting and furnishings with architectural systems.
