Enfield, CT ARCO National Construction (ARCO) partnered with Winstanley Enterprises to complete a 501,500 s/f cold storage facility for end-users Agri-Mark and Eppendorf. Agri-Mark, a premier dairy farmer cooperative in the Northeast, occupies 260,500 s/f of the facility, with the remaining portion occupied by Eppendorf, a life science company that develops and sells instruments, consumables, and services for liquid, sample, and cell handling in laboratories worldwide. 

The strong demand for industrial space combined with speed-to-market prioritization from end-users has led to increased development throughout Connecticut due to its land availability and access to major population centers. The facility is strategically located between Boston and New York City along I-91, central Connecticut’s primary north-south corridor connecting Hartford, New Haven, and points south within Vermont and western Massachusetts.

Construction details include a 176,460 s/f warehouse, 34,678 s/f 0°F freezer, 20,969 s/f 35°F cooler, 19,256 s/f dry dock, 6,149 s/f 45°F cold dock, and 3,420 s/f office.
