B Mac Solar, LLC sold and implementd a 25kW solar array for Pridestar EMS' 229 Stedman St. headquarters.
"B Mac Solar is thrilled to be partnering with Pridestar on this development," said Frank McCabe, vice president of sales for B Mac Solar. "You hear a lot about residential programs and large municipal projects but small-medium sized businesses, such as Pridestar, can truly reap major benefits by going solar. With all of the various lease and incentive programs made available to users, systems can now be viewed as a revenue stream for owners".
Currently, Mass. is the most financially attractive state to develop solar energy projects in the U.S.
"Pridestar is excited to continue our mission to be an environmentally conscious company," said David Daly, president and founder of Pridestar. "When we constructed our new facility in 2008, our intention was to include a solar array on the building, but the cost was simply too high to justify the project. Today, with all of the incredible state programs, rebates and tax incentives, this decision makes great sense from both an energy-efficiency and fiscal standpoint".
