B’nai B’rith’s The Coolidge at Sudbury, phase 2 nears completion

Sudbury, MA Phase 2 of the Coolidge at Sudbury, a 55+ community offering affordable rental units for seniors and older adults, is presently nearing completion and now accepting waitlist applications.

The Coolidge at Sudbury is developed by B’nai B’rith Housing, a nonprofit developer whose mission is to ease the housing crisis in the greater Boston area. Peabody Properties, a full-service real estate and property management firm, is overseeing the leasing process of the community.

A lottery for residency at the 56-apartment community was held on July 1st. This being one of the first virtual lotteries, organizers were pleased to see that it was hugely successful, and feel that this type of format may provide expanded availability to even more individuals in a safe manner for the foreseeable future.

Phase 2 of the Coolidge at Sudbury is a new senior housing development for those ages 55 and older. It includes 56 apartment units with elevators, both garage and surface parking, and is located adjacent to Phase 1 at 187 Boston Post Rd. (Rte. 20). The one-bedroom, one-bathroom rental apartments are approximately 675 s/f, and similar to Phase 1, the new building includes common spaces and amenities such as a meeting room, library, and fitness center, as well as offices for a property manager and on-site resident service coordinator, to which all residents will have access. The Coolidge at Sudbury is affordable housing for seniors, where income guidelines apply.

“As the second phase of this beautiful community nears completion, we want to underscore how proud we are to partner with B’nai B’rith Housing,” said Karen Fish-Will, principal and CEO of Peabody Properties. “Both phases of The Coolidge at Sudbury represent the very best in affordable housing for seniors.”
