Barnhurst of Gienapp Arch. earns LEED AP Building Design + Construction credential

Danvers, MA According to Gienapp Architects, Imelda Barnhurst, RA, AIA has earned the LEED AP Building Design + Construction (BD+C) credential placing her among an elite group of leading professionals with expertise in green building and the LEED BD+C rating system. This accreditation signifies leadership in the field and active participation in the green building movement. As a credentialed professional, she possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the design process, support and encourage integrated design, and streamline the LEED application and certification process.

Barnhurst has been an integral part of Gienapp Architects’ design and project management teams for over 12 years and was promoted to associate in 2019.

“I believe in designing with sustainability,” said Barnhurst. “I’m excited and honored to be joining the LEED community.”
