Bernier of S/L/A/M Construction Services attains CPE designation

Glastonbury, CT According to S/L/A/M Construction Services (SLAM CS), Nate Bernier, CPE, LEED AP, senior associate and chief estimator, has fulfilled the requirements for Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation, as determined by the American Society of Professional Estimators.

CPE is nationally recognized and exemplifies Nate’s estimating proficiency, ethical awareness, and commitment to the construction industry. This designation further enhances his nearly 20 years of experience as an estimator with a high success rate of working with designers and owners to value engineer projects within their respected budget. Bernier works collaboratively to develop SLAM’s in-house pre-construction services from conceptual design budgets and evaluation of constructability issues to preparing cash flow analysis and leads value engineering exercises. His work on varied pre-construction efforts on multiple projects, has resulted in 4% - 15% cost reductions.
