Basile joins Spinnaker as managing director of acquisitions

According to Spinnaker Real Estate Partners, a privately owned real estate investment and development company, Michael Basile has joined the firm as managing director of acquisitions. In this role, Basile is responsible for acquisition and disposition activities nationally for the company. Basile will also be assisting Spinnaker's senior management team in broadening the company's investment platform and investor base. Basile, 37, has more than 15 years of experience in property acquisition, asset management and real estate finance, and has closed over $3.8 billion in real estate transactions. Prior to joining Spinnaker, Basile served as vice president of real estate finance group at RBS Greenwich Capital in Greenwich. He has also held senior positions with the HB Nitkin Group and Granite Partners (now Savillis Granite). Basile is an active member in a number of real estate organizations including the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council.
