Bigelow and Fleming, LLC completed a 8,000 s/f renovation at the MetroWest Medical Center.
This $1.9 million project involved a major overhaul of a previously vacant wing at the medical center. The Center for Behavioral Medicine includes 14 patient beds and will offer a variety of behavioral health services that include partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient programs, traditional outpatient and emergency services.
The project included compressing a 16-week construction schedule into a 9-week fast track project. Careful preparation was critical as the construction was located over the active operating room at MetroWest Medical Center. Other areas of focus included installation of anti-ligature equipment and a highly efficient VRF system.
