BL Companies promotes Muhlbauer to director of architecture

BL Companies has promoted Rainer Muhlbauer, AIA, LEED AP, to join Robert Celata, director of architecture and building engineering, in leading the architecture practice. A principal at BL, Muhlbauer has 29 years of experience in the field of architecture. His wide range of work experience has included the design, production, construction documentation, and construction administration for federal, state, public and private projects, including university, office, laboratory, parking garage and postal facilities. In his role, he will continue to showcase his extensive experience in design and production, construction administration, development of project budgets, and contract negotiation, as well business development and client care. Muhlbauer earned his Bachelor of Technology in Architecture from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in 1980, and Master of Architecture from University of Michigan in 1985. He is a registered architect in Connecticut and 16 other states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a registered Interior Designer in Connecticut. He is a member of the AIA Connecticut and New York Chapters.
