RHYS Comm'l. brokers deals for Hallmark, Massage Envy and AT&T

RHYS Commercial recently signed Hallmark Gold Crown, AT&T and Massage Envy to new store leases in Western New Haven County and Hartford County. Hallmark Gold Crown will re-open at the newly renovated Southbury Plaza shopping center in Southbury in a more prominent 4,500 s/f location and under new management. According to RHYS executive vice president Dominick Musilli, who represented the tenant in the deal, Hallmark signed a five-year lease and will join a strong mix of national and local specialty retailers, including anchor tenants Stop & Shop, Kmart and Borders.
RHYS senior vice president, Jason Wuchiski, represented the landlord, the Gatto Development Corporation.
In Hartford County, the firm recently brokered deals for two national franchises. Massage Envy, which has clinics in 42 states, signed a lease for 3,200 s/f of space at Bishop's Corner in West Hartford. This will be the massage therapy spa's seventh clinic in the state of Conn. and will service the local communities west of Hartford. According to Wuchiski, who was the sole broker on this deal, the tenant signed a 10-year lease, valued at more than $1 million.
Also opening in Hartford County is a new AT&T Mobility store, which just leased 3,200 s/f of space at The Shops at Somerset Square in Glastonbury. The company will be taking a prominent location at the entrance to The Shops next to Massage Envy, relocating from its former location at 1 Main St. in East Hartford, where it will draw traffic from the open-air mall's other retail tenants including Talbots, Ann Taylor, Victoria's Secret, Coldwater Creek and Starbucks.
Adds Wuchiski, who acted as the sole broker in this deal as well, the tenant signed a five-year lease.
