Blue Monkey Beverage leases 4,000 s/f at Cummings Properties' 18 Commerce Way

Woburn, MA Blue Monkey Beverage has relocated its corporate headquarters from Charlestown, to leasing 3,940 s/f at 18 Commerce Way.

Founded in 2009 and inspired by the bold taste of tropical fruit, Blue Monkey creates beverages made with real juice, never from concentrate. Its portfolio includes tropical fruit juices, coconut water, and sparkling juice drinks – all free from added sugar, fillers, and GMO ingredients.

Cummings Properties business development director Al Diamond worked with Carter Swaebe of CRESA Boston on the lease, which included a custom build-out completed by Cummings’ in-house design and construction teams.

According to a company statement issued in March, the move coincides with a major brand refresh and accelerated retail expansion nationwide, including the acquisition of sustainable sports drink brand Local Weather.

Diamond cited the need for a more permanent, scalable home as the primary driver behind the relocation. “Woburn offered Blue Monkey the ideal combination of value and accessibility to support its next phase of growth,” said Diamond. “At 18 Commerce Way, we were able to quickly deliver a bright, modern workspace with ample on-site parking and area amenities.”

The Commerce Way site is located at the intersection of I-93 and I-95, within walking distance of numerous cafés and restaurants as well as the Woburn Village retail destination.

This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
