Blue Stream Laboratories will relocate from Cambridge to Cummings Properties' 8 Henshaw St. this month. The 12,500 s/f facility offers a combination of office, light manufacturing, and lab space. Blue Stream is an advanced analytical laboratory that provides mass spectrometry services to the biotech industry. Founded in 2006, the firm spent its first two years working out of a 3,400 s/f space at 10 Roessler Rd., another Cummings Properties' building. "We work with a lot of startups, and it's always exciting to see them grow and succeed like Blue Stream has," said Rob Yacobian, a leasing director with Cummings Properties. "We are delighted to have this firm back with Cummings, and we think it will be a great addition to Woburn's vibrant biotech cluster." Yacobian worked with Matt Siciliano of CBRE on the lease. Blue Stream Laboratories is a modern, client-driven, contract analytical, formulations and development-support laboratory serving the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The company specializes in advanced analytical testing in support of product characterization, lot release, and stability programs required for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development. Cummings Properties' 10 million s/f portfolio of prime space accommodates executive offices, healthcare facilities, laboratories, retail storefronts, industrial space, and more. With a portfolio of this size and variety, the firm can meet almost any commercial real estate need, from 150 s/f to 300,000 s/f. Its in-house experts in design, construction, and property management offer "one-stop shopping" for leasing clients.
