BOMA Benefit Check Presentation and BOMA International Awards

On Wednesday, May 7, BOMA Boston held a check presentation with members of the BOMA Benefit Committee and awarded over $85,000 to the 2014 Benefit Beneficiaries with proceeds raised from the Benefit. In February, BOMA Boston held their 25th Annual BOMA Benefit raising money on behalf of Birthday Wishes, Generations Incorporated, Hospitality Homes, St. Francis House, and My Brother's Keeper. On May 22, BOMA Boston held their monthly Roundtable. The program facilitated by Rob Brierley, senior vice president, Colliers International; chair, BOMA International 360 Performance Program Council was on the BOMA 360 Performance Program and why Buildings should participate. The BOMA 360 Performance Program is an online assessment that evaluates six major areas of building operations and management, and benchmarks a building's performance against industry standards. Boston has 37 buildings that are designated as 360 Performance Buildings. To learn more about the designation visit us online at bomaboston.org. At the end of June BOMA Boston members will be heading to BOMA International's Every Building Conference and Expo, to be held at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Orlando, FL from June 22-24.
