On Thursday, October 9, over 200 BOMA members gathered at the Hard Rock Café for BOMA Boston's annual Fallfest Event. This event was hosted by sponsoring affiliate members, where industry members were treated to an evening of quality networking, drinks and
hors d 'oeuvres, great raffle prizes and Karaoke!

On Wednesday, October 29, members of BOMA's Emerging Professional committee organized and participated in a Halloween Party for the Medford Family Life & Education Center. Four families with children from ages 1-15 participated in this costume party with games, dinner and dessert. The Emerging Professional committee meets monthly to help promote the profession through educational and networking opportunities. In addition, they participate in quarterly community service projects.
On Wednesday, November 19, BOMA Boston will be hosting the TOBY & Industry Awards Dinner at the Westin Copley Place from 5:30 - 9 p.m. Members and non-members will gather to find out who the region's best buildings and people managing them are. This year's Executive of the Year Award Honoree is Scott Brown, senior vice president, Lincoln Property Company and all other honorees will be announced the evening of the awards. Awards will be given in 12 categories for buildings and 8 for industry awards. This is BOMA Boston's single largest gathering with close to 600 in attendance. BOMA Boston is currently accepting proposals for the 2015 BOMA Benefit which will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Seaport Hotel from 7 - 11 p.m. The BOMA Benefit is an annual fundraising event committed to raising funds on behalf of charities whose missions are aligned with providing affordable housing, housing solutions and education to those in need. In 2014, BOMA included organizations whose work benefits the community or individuals of Greater Boston as a whole - including health & human services, the environment, arts & culture, which will now be an annual practice.
