BOMA Boston update: Fall events recap

On October 13th, BOMA hosted their annual Fallfest from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Exchange at 100 Federal. It was a great night connecting close to 300 commercial real estate professionals in the heart of Boston’s downtown/financial district!

On October 20th, a group of 25 members from the BOMA Emerging Professional’s committee participated in a behind the scenes tour of View Boston, at the Prudential Tower. BOMA board member Tracey Nicholson, general manager, BXP and her team showed off the amazing space to the group.

On October 27th, BOMA hosted a webinar on Healthy Building Certifications with a presentation by Charlie Cichetti, WELL AP, CEO + co-founder, SIG and Jenn Mahon, WELL AP, director of sustainability – wellness, SIG. We had 80 registrants for the webinar, which counted for one hour of general LEED and WELL CE. This webinar was sponsors by Mantis Innovation.

On November 7th, BOMA hosted the Restore & Revive Roundtable at Rockhill Management, located at 100 High St. Both BOMA members and nonmembers join us for a conversation on how best to prepare your properties for disasters and how safety planning can minimize impacts to properties. Industry experts, Dan Gobron, PMengineering ops director, CBRE, Rick Perini, senior project manager, 24Restore, Scott Ployer, president & CEO, National Property Management Strategies Group and Adam Risman, commercial risk advisor, Risman Insurance, shared how property managers can prepare their buildings for disasters and what to look out for. The discussion will cover, insurance logistics, how best to protect your building and OSHA regulations and updates
