BOMA Boston Update - Summer fun! BOMA fishing and golf tournaments, and a boat cruise all scheduled

Boston, MA BOMA Boston kicked off the full slate of BOMA Summer events with BOMA Springfest on May 14th. 275 BOMA members and guests came together at Big Night Live for a night of networking. Thank you to our many affiliate member sponsors for hosting this fun event!

BOMI: Budgeting & Accounting is taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on June 1st. This class will take place virtually via Zoom from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The Budgeting & Accounting course updates reflect the latest industry practices and standards. Innovative microlessons that focus on practical applications, provide real-world insights and strategies you can implement immediately. You’ll learn the skills to effectively analyze financial statements, create budgets, manage and address budget variations, prepare rent rolls, and how to attract and retain high-quality tenants using tenant profiles. The 21st Annual BOMA Fishing Tournament is right around the corner! On June 5th, over 100 BOMA members will take to Boston Harbor with professionally charted boats for a day of fishing. Registration includes a private boat with professional local captains, tackle and bait, snacks and water, light breakfast, tournament gift and a lunch reception. Once again, 300 BOMA members will take over the Jones and Nicklaus Courses of Pinehills Golf Club on Monday, July 6th. Limited sponsorship spots are available for the tournament. The accelerated BOMI: Managing the Organization will take place Wednesday, July 8th through Friday, July 10th. This class will be from 9:00am – 4:00pm and will be held virtually via Zoom. This course will prepare you to manage and lead your organization through improved communication, motivation, team building, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Property and facility managers who take this course will be able to further develop their group leadership and management techniques and abilities, and analyze and improve their relationships with staff, colleagues, and owners. BOMA Boston is excited to announce the return of the BOMA Boat Cruise hosted by the Emerging Professionals. Join BOMA Boston for an unforgettable summer evening on the water on Tuesday, July 21st. Affiliate Members: Those who provide a service to commercial building owners and managers. Examples include window cleaning companies, restoration specialists, construction companies, etc.
