Boroson Architects to present at New England Passive House Conference

Kensington, NH Kenneth Boroson Architects will be among the firms presenting at the New England Passive House Multi-Family Conference on April 6. Passive house is an affordable and highly energy efficient design and construction standard based upon climate-specific comfort and performance.

Speakers include principal Ken Boroson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, and project architect Grant Wright, RA, of Boroson Architects, as well as passive house consultant Lois Arena, PE, and Charles Emerson, RA.

The team will describe the 11 Crown St. project in Meriden, Conn., a transit-oriented development (TOD) comprised of three separate structures, currently in design utilizing passive house principles.

Wright and Arena are Certified Passive House Consultants (CPHC). Arena is director of passive house services at Steven Winter Associates.
