Bowdoin completes 170,000 s/f Village at Colony Place for Saxon
Bowdoin Construction has recently completed construction of the Village at Colony Place for Saxon Partners, and the grand opening was held on September 14th. The new upscale lifestyle center totals 170,000 s/f and included the construction of six multi-tenant retail buildings, as well as an extensive landscape and hardscape package. The buildings, designed by Carter Burgess, were constructed of structural steel and CMU, with granite, brick, EIFS, and stone façade.
Prior to building "The Village" Bowdoin served as construction manager for the construction of "The Plaza" at Colony Place, designed by Cubellis Associates, which included 130,000 s/f of build-to-suit retail stores and 170 acres of site development.
Wallingford, CT O,R&L Commercial has completed the $3.8 million sale of a mixed-use investment property located at 33-39 North Main St. and 24-25 Wallace Ave. in the town center.
