Bridgeport, Stamford and Norwalk rank among best cities in country for jobs according to Forbes

According to Forbes, the cities of Fairfield County, Conn. - Bridgeport, Stamford and Norwalk - rank among the very best in the entire country when it comes to job prospects for young professionals. After considering factors like unemployment rates, job growth projections, salaries and cost of living, Forbes named Fairfield County twelfth best among the top 15 cities nationwide - and the only area in the Northeast to crack the top 15.
"These rankings reaffirm how our state's still revolutionary approach to business creates great opportunities for younger workers," said Catherine Smith, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. "Fairfield County, like the rest of Connecticut, is a unique location where employees enjoy a great place in which to both work and live."
