Brown and Mugford of CBRE/New England represent Optimus Ride in 20,000 s/f - Corkery and Marks represent the landlord

Boston, MA According to CBRE/New England, Optimus Ride opened their new 20,000 s/f complex in the Seaport Innovation District. The MIT spinoff company develops self-driving technologies to enable safe, sustainable and equitable mobility solutions, as a part of a greater initiative to design fully autonomous systems for electric vehicle fleets.

“Optimus Ride chose the Innovation District in order to create the best self-driving vehicle testing facility in the East Coast,” said Sertac Karaman, president and chief scientist at Optimus Ride. “Our new Optimus complex will include a prototyping and fabrication facility, interior and exterior testing infrastructure, offices and garage space for our electric vehicles.”

CBRE/NE’s Suzanne Brown and Peter Mugford represented Optimus Ride. CBRE/NE’s David Corkery and Rachel Marks represented the landlord.

The Seaport’s Innovation District continues to be the leading hotspot for testing autonomous vehicles. The city has an ongoing collaboration with Optimus Ride as a test partner. The proximity of their new facility will provide the company with new levels of productivity and ability to expand their operations.
