Fairfield County, CT Brown Harris Stevens Connecticut has partnered with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce “Gingerbread House Tour” and non-profit Person-To-Person Food Drive to help Fairfield County children and families in need this holiday season and throughout the year.
For 20 years, Brown Harris Stevens staff and agents have connected with the community by purchasing 150 gingerbread house kits from Walter Stewarts Market. With the help of the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, the kits are distributed by a sign-up, and the houses are decorated by kids during the Thanksgiving holiday and displayed in New Canaan storefronts during the “Gingerbread House Tour” and “Holiday Stroll,” from December 6-22.
Person-To-Person and Brown Harris Stevens have a long history of partnering to support families and individuals toward stability and economic opportunity. Following many successful years of collecting coat donations, this year’s food drive initiative consists of bins placed at each of Brown Harris Stevens’ six Connecticut storefronts.
“We are delighted to partner each year with these incredible organizations that inspire the holiday spirit with these wonderful holiday events,” said Christopher Halstead, executive sales director for BHS Connecticut. “Brown Harris Stevens and our real estate professionals are proud of our long-standing commitment to helping families in the communities where we live and work.”
Brown Harris Stevens Connecticut encourages everyone to commit to making a difference and join them by supporting these holiday initiatives for families in need.
