BSA and MIT's school of architecture and planning are initiating two open symposia starting in March, gathering leading urbanists from the U.S. and overseas to frame the issues and opportunities facing the modern city in a period of global climate change and resource depletion. The goal is to establish a design and policy agenda for Boston and the N.E. region.
Symposium I: Cities and buildings: Architecture for the green city on March 28.
Symposium II: Cities and systems: Strategies for the future on June 9th.
The symposiums will take place at the Wong Auditorium, Tang Center, MIT, 70 Memorial Dr. Cambridge, Mass. For more info visit www.architects.org/massimpact/
