Bufftree Building renovates Global Learning Charter School

November 19, 2008 - Construction Design & Engineering
After Bufftree Building Company's extensive renovation of the former St. Anthony's School, students at the Global Learning Charter Public School were able to enjoy their first school year in their new home in the city's north end.
Detailing the extent of the work, Bufftree project manager Gary Laboa said the company's construction team took an old school building and moved it closer to today's occupancy standards.
Problems were kept to a minimum, he says, due to "effective communication and a great level of cooperation between Bufftree and the school administrative and facilities personnel."
The architect for the 5-month-long, over $1 million project was the firm of Mount Vernon Group Architects.
