101 Park Place - Stamford, CT

Building and Land Technology, the developer of Harbor Point, held a pre-opening of the project's second major residential component, 101 Park Place. This new, 15-story structure houses 336 rental residences and offers a level of design, finish and services unprecedented in lower Fairfield County. Like its predecessor, the historic rental community The Lofts at Yale & Towne, which has achieved 85% leased status in just five months of opening, 101 Park Place is located between Connecticut's busiest train station and Stamford's waterfront.
Overlooking a 4-acre park and Long Island Sound, 101 Park Place offers a wide range of housing choices including 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, 2-level maisonettes and penthouses on the 14th and 15th floors. According to Carl Kuehner III, president and CEO of Building and Land Technology, 101 Park Place is amenity rich. "There's a concierge to receive packages and facilitate travel and entertainment plans, a sixth floor pool deck with a walking trail and views of Long Island Sound, a fitness center and Wi-Fi clubrooms. This building is truly representative of what sophisticated residents expect in today's New Stamford," said Kuehner.
Recognizing an opportunity that stood silent for decades, Harbor Point is an unprecedented vision of the Stamford waterfront. The project includes 6 million s/f of mixed-use development: 85% residential (4,000 residential units, 10% of which are affordable housing); 15% commercial, including office buildings, a grocery store, a waterfront hotel, restaurants and a full-service marina; more than 11 acres of parks and public space; a community school; and publicly accessible waterfront access. As a Gold Certified LEED-ND development, Harbor Point is also leading the way in environmental design and construction.

Harbor Point is being developed by Building and Land Technology, a second-generation real estate development company.
BLT has completed ventures worth more than $3 billion including over 4 million square feet of commercial development and 4,500+ residential units. BLT trophy properties host the headquarters for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Gen Re, GE Commercial Finance, Diageo, GE Real Estate, Xerox, GE Energy Financial Services, IMS Health, Hewitt and Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. Their numerous office parks, apartment complexes, single family subdivisions, common interest communities and adaptive reuse projects total in excess of 8,000,000 square feet of development throughout Fairfield County.
The apartments' premium finishes include granite countertops and islands, stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets, wood laminate flooring, ceramic tile bathrooms and private terraces in select homes.
A short walk from the Stamford Train Station, 101 Park Place is 47 minutes from midtown Manhattan. The community is close to city restaurants, clubs, convenience retail and the soon to open Fairway Market, the famed NYC green grocer. A complimentary shuttle service for residents offers easy access to the train and all of the neighborhoods within Harbor Point.
