BuildingEnergy08, a clean energy event, to be held March 11-13th at Boston's Seaport World Trade Ctr.

BuildingEnergy08, the Northeast's largest green building and clean energy event, will return to Boston's Seaport World Trade Center, March 11-13. Last year, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association's Building Energy Conference drew record attendance for three days of workshops, speakers, networking, a public forum and a trade show for renewable energy and green building professionals. The 33rd annual conference next March is expected to draw over 3,500 participants. "Tools, Actions, and Solutions," the theme for BuildingEnergy08, will be highlighted by experts in various workshops and sessions. Over 180 experts in climate change, sustainable energy and green building will speak in nine distinct tracks and pre-conference workshops. Topics will focus on: enclosures and energy; renewable energy systems for architects and designers; carbon foot-printing; measurement and verification in high performance buildings; wind and solar-powered buildings; super-insulated homes; innovative policy solutions for states and municipalities; multi-family updates: benchmarking, retrofits, rehab, and new construction; climate change; residential renovation; and air tightness vs. ventilation.
