Burke joins Timberline Construction as vice president and director of field operations

Jeff Burke has joined Timberline Construction Corp. as vice president and director of field operations Burke leverages his 20 years of construction management experience to develop strategies, which demonstrate proven efficiency, value and delivery. Burke's project expertise ranges from diverse tenant improvements, life science laboratories and new building construction. As vice president and director of field operations, Burke is responsible for the leadership and operational excellence of Timberline's GC division construction assignments within the northeast. His role includes further developing standard operating procedures for all field operations; providing general direction for all superintendents, carpenters and laborers; working with the estimating team and the project executives to assist in preconstruction scheduling, planning and logistics to ensure proper project approach; working with all project teams overseeing scheduling and project close-out requirements; identifying areas of training needs; and ensuring that the company Safety Plan is adhered to at all times by staff and subcontractors. With a dedication to continued professional training and development, Burke helps to maintain both the stability and the vitality of Timberline's project teams. Burke will also work closely with the president as part of the senior management team to assist with the execution of Timberline's business plan, making strategic adjustments that support changing market conditions, as necessary, to help guide the growth of the company for the foreseeable future. Burke is a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology with an Associate Degree in Construction Technology. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University and Post Graduate Accreditation in Laboratory Design, Health and Safety from Harvard University. In addition to being a LEED Accredited Professional, he has received OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Resource certifications. Burke also holds his Boston Builder's license and Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's license.
