Boston, MA Business District, a new level and experience in the shared workplace industry, is expanding to occupy a second, 8,000 s/f floor. The company will now operate both the 17th and 14th floors at 177 Huntington Ave. Every office has a view of the city through floor to ceiling windows. Business District offers C-Suite level offices, conference rooms and gathering spaces for those executives seeking a high-level work environment with amenities.

“Our goal is to be the rare business that exceeds expectations, and we think we did that on the 17th floor,” said Matt LoGuidice, co-founder and CEO. “The new 14th floor will continue to push the boundaries in delivering unparalleled services and amenities unlike anything else available in the marketplace. The new floor will raise the bar even higher.”

The new 8,000 s/f space will house 30 private offices ranging in size from 55 to 160 s/f, with a large conference room complete with equipment. In addition, the space will feature a recharge room equipped with an EnergyPod by MetroNaps. This revolutionary product, the first in a shared workspace in the western hemisphere, combines luxurious comfort, innovative technology and timeless design, fitting in perfectly with Business District’s vision of creating a “five-star” level of services and amenities for businesses.

The 14th floor interiors were designed by Stack + Co., who created a classic yet modern space to complement the personality of the building, originally designed by I.M. Pei & Partners. “We wanted to create a perfectly tailored experience,” said Andrew Wade Keating, principal of Stack + Co. “The interiors are intended to evoke a made-to-measure suit, complete with the pops of color normally found in a pocket square. For the carpets, we chose a woven tweed and the walls are lined with a Merino wool felt in deep jewel tones.”

The views of Boston’s Back Bay and South End neighborhoods are a key differentiator. Steps from the Prudential T stop, just off the Mass. Pike and 10 minutes from Logan Airport, Business District positions professionals in am area of high-end redevelopment, reinforcing this location as one of Boston’s most desirable neighborhoods to live, work and play.

Business District was founded in 2016 by Medford natives business partners, LoGuidice and Ben Gunther. They opened Business District to offer a superior workplace experience for the modern successful professional, something the two felt was lacking in today’s marketplace. In addition, Business District offers a fully equipped fitness center with locker rooms and showers, catering services, and meeting rooms with the latest technological support. Enter through a designed, contemporary reception lobby with a private concierge to greet members and guests, with round-the-clock security for the entire building. Members spend their workday in fully furnished offices equipped with Herman Miller adjustable height desks and Humanscale ergonomic chairs. The spaces have custom finishes and lighting.
