Jeffrey Butler, broker/owner of Butler Realty Group, with offices in Warwick, has recently been named to two positions in the real estate industry. Butler will now serve as treasurer of both the RI Commercial & Appraisal Board of Realtors (RICABOR) and also of the RI State-Wide Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Butler, who has been a member of the MLS board of directors since 2008, will oversee a budget of over $2 million. MLS as a member service organization of over 4,000 Real Estate Licensees and is a subsidiary of the RI Association of Realtors. Butler Realty is a full service Realtor, specializing in commercial and investment properties, with both residential sales and rehab divisions. Butler is a member and board member of the RICABOR.
Butler has been a RI Realtor since 1977 and has been a member of the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce since 1999. He is also a member of the International Executives Association, RI Chapter (RI Execs) and has served on its board of directors, as well as serving as president.
