RIBA now has a detailed business plan to make the organization become "proactive and public."
That was the word from president Robert Baldwin and the RIBA board of directors as the association's leadership convened on September 6th after a summer recess.
Baldwin, officers and directors commended executive director John Marcantonio, on the job only since July, for quick but focused work on the detailed, 12-page document.
The business plan lays out RIBA's strategy for improvement and growth over the next five years in 11 major points.
The board also approved RIBA's 2011-2012 slate of officers and directors, that was voted on at the association's annual meeting.
The administration of president Robert Baldwin, vice president Felix Carlone, secretary Roland Fiore and treasurer Steven Gianlorenzo have been nominated for another term. The board of directors will not meet in October because of the association's annual meeting.
