EBC Update on U.S. EPA and Connecticut Environmental & Energy Programs This EBC Connecticut Chapter morning program will feature the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Commissioner Rob Klee and the U.S. EPA Regional Administrator Curt Spalding. Plan to attend this program and gain insight into Connecticut’s energy and environmental program developments, budgets and priorities for 2016 and learn how your business might be impacted. In addition, U.S. EPA Regional Administrator Curt Spalding will discuss environmental program priorities and implementation strategies for the region and how they will impact future state and municipal programs and the private sector. Issues to be discussed include: Climate Change Preparedness and Resiliency, Stormwater Management, Enforcement, Natural Gas Pipeline Expansions, Coastal Erosion, Solid Waste Management, Urban Soils, Organics Management, PCB Contaminated Materials, Dredging and Ports & Harbors, Renewable Energy, Site Remediation and Brownfields.

Panelists include Dana C. Huff, P.E., Vice President with Tighe & Bond, Michael J. Scipione, Chair of the EBC Board of Directors and President of Weston & Sampson, Sarah Trombetta, Senior Principal with TRC, and Catherine Finneran, Director of Environmental Affairs with Eversource Energy.
