Construction Institute: Natural Disasters - March 22

Norwalk, CT The Construction Institute will host “Earth, Wind, Fire & Water: Planning for, recovering quickly, and curbing damage from natural disasters” on March 22 at Norwalk Inn, 99 East Ave.

Join the Construction Institute as they discuss practical steps you can take to face disasters with the peace of mind that comes from being prepared and having a plan in place for response. From preventive design through recovery, this program will feature national and regional professionals who will examine some histories of damage; how to plan for natural disaster and recover quickly; how to manage facilities for owners and tenants in the specter of severe weather; how to protect existing structures; and how to use design as a defense against natural disasters.

If you own, manage, design, construct, and/or repair buildings, or care about resilient communities, you should join us for open discussion about the issues surrounding natural disasters. The program will help attendees become more informed and better able to make decisions that impact the strength of their facilities and the resiliency of their businesses.
