PROGRAM DETAILS

Like much of the rest of the country, New England faces significant challenges in maintaining and upgrading its infrastructure. Massachusetts alone will require billions of dollars in investments to address the needs of aging infrastructure and a growing population and economy. It’s also knows that the infrastructure build today must meet the needs of future generations and be resilient to changing climate conditions. The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure’s Envision Rating System offers a framework for ensuring that infrastructure projects designed and constructed today manage risks and create benefits now and into the future.

This EBC Infrastructure program will bring together public project owners and consultants to provide an overview on sustainable infrastructure, the Envision rating system, case studies of its use to date, and some lessons learned.

This will be an invaluable program for project owners and the consultants who work with to design and build any variety of infrastructure projects – roadways, bridges, utilities, water, airports, transit, and more.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this meeting (2.0 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
