MIPIM 2016’s “Housing the World” tradeshow to be held in Cannes, France
Cannes, France The main theme for the March 15-18 MIPIM 2016 will be “Housing the World”, focusing its attention on housing development, challenges and the needs of this sector in the real estate industry worldwide. MIPIM seeks to offer invaluable insight to industry executives by bringing together the full spectrum of industry participants and providing them the opportunity to meet global leaders and enhance their company on a larger scale.

The leading focus of this year’s conference will be, “Housing the World”, and different housing trends, policies and challenges that are occurring internationally. Other areas of focus for the 2016 conference will include the digital impact on real estate, opportunities and trends in mature and emerging markets, and alternative verses core asset classes. In addition, the conference will focus on innovative solutions and practices that are designed to promote smart thinking and value building, while also focusing on hotel and tourism and how the hospitality industry can grow businesses.
Launched in 1990 and organized by Reed MIDEM, the 27th edition of MIPIM takes place in Cannes on March 15-18, 2016. The event and offers real estate centric programs, deal-making opportunities, exhibition facilities, educational opportunities, and networking events. In 2015, over 20,000 global real estate industry executives from 93 countries, including over 4,500 investors, traveled to Cannes for the annual gathering of the global real estate industry. The four-day event brings together investors, developers, occupiers, architects, hotel groups, public authorities, city mayors and property associations from around the world.
