Hingham, MA  Callahan Construction Managers (Callahan) has completed The Cove, a multifamily development including a mix of market rate and affordable housing. The mid-rise, residential community was developed by Alliance Residential Company, while Callahan and CUBE 3 Architects were tasked with the construction and design of the new building.

The Cove consists of two buildings, both with four stories of wood framing above one level of post-tensioned podium parking. The property is located adjacent to the Hingham Shipyard, Hingham Ferry Station, nearly 500 acres of open space in Bare Cove Park, and is the third residential building in the town that Callahan has constructed, including Brio and The Residences at Penniman Hill. Callahan also previously completed the retail portion of the Launch at the Hingham Shipyard.

With direct access to all the shopping, entertainment and restaurants at Hingham Shipyard, the property’s transit served location also provides convenient access to Boston via a 35-minute ferry ride to Rowe’s Wharf, Logan Airport, or the trains at South Station.
