Campanelli Companies honored DeFlavis, the longest employee of 46 years

At Campanelli Companies' annual holiday party, the partners honored Josephine DeFlavis, Campanelli Companies' longest employee of over 46 years. DeFlavis starting working for Campanelli in June of 1964 as assistant to the controller; her job was mainly bookkeeping and over the years, started to handle most of the employee benefits (health insurance, life and LTD insurance and employee profit sharing 401-K Plan). She also managed the records and transactions on three charitable foundations. DeFlavis originally applied for this position because it appealed to her; she greatly enjoyed detailed work (and still does). Presently, DeFlavis's position as executive assistant to the Campanelli family requires record keeping and processing of personal tax payments as well as other personal payments. In addition, DeFlavis continues to handle the records and transactions on the same three charitable foundations. When asked why she has stayed at Campanelli for the last 46 years, she said, "I enjoy the work I am doing, but mainly because I have enjoyed working with all of the Campanelli family, the DeMarco family and all my co-workers."
