Carroll joins Avison Young as vice president of research

According to Rick Kimball, Avison Young principal and managing director, leading real estate researcher Brendan Carroll has joined the firm. Effective immediately, Carroll joins Avison Young as vice president of research, New England. He will focus on an innovative approach to real estate research that provides beneficial analytics to industry professionals. "We are very pleased to welcome Brendan Carroll to our growing operation in Boston. Brendan is one of the most respected professionals and industry leaders in the market," said Kimball. "His unique approach to commercial real estate research, which stems from his diverse background of experiences and industry knowledge, is perfectly aligned with our commitment to provide best-in-class services to our valued clients. The relationships that Brendan has developed with clients and other industry contacts over the years will be of great benefit to Avison Young as we continue to expand our footprint in Boston and the rest of New England." Carroll brings 17 years of experience to the Avison Young team. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, he worked for FAC/Equities, an investment-banking firm, where he provided a diverse array of advisory services to clients in numerous industries. Additionally, Carroll was an active participant in high-tech investment banking during the 1998 to 2000 technology boom. His unique experience in the research field has enabled him to use the skills he has acquired to identify and forecast industry trends.
